Current special exhibitions in honour of Franz Beckenbauer and Gerd Müller

2020 was a real anniversary year - and two milestone birthdays of two extraordinary personalities also mean two special exhibitions for visitors to the FC Bayern Museum. At present, therefore, both “KAISER 75” in honour of Franz Beckenbauer and “Goals for Eternity. 75 years of Gerd Müller” can be viewed. Two specially designed exhibitions that shine a light on Beckenbauer and Müller, both as extraordinary footballers and people, and that go far beyond the pitch.

FC Bayern says thank you!

With both exhibitions, FC Bayern Munich would like to say “Congratulations” and “Thank you”. While the focus in the “Bomber” exhibition lies on a wealth of newly researched data, facts and exciting stories about the still unrivalled goalscorer, in “KAISER 75” lovingly selected exhibits, an emotional film and anecdotes from numerous companions bring the sportsman and the person Franz Beckenbauer together to form an impressive overall picture. Beckenbauer, who made many of the exhibits available from his own collection, came to see the special exhibition for himself. His verdict: Come along and take a look!

The special exhibitions can be viewed until 31 August 2021 and are included in the museum ticket.
