Parking for caravans

Increase font size Text size

There is parking for recreational vehicles just outside Munich’s gates for only 20 euros per night. This price is the same for cars with trailer caravans.

Attention campers! The north bus parking lot at the Allianz Arena is available for campers and cars with caravans.

For planning purposes, please refer to the following instructions:

Parking on the day before a matchday is only possible until 7:00 pm. Fan coaches use these parking lots from the early morning, so the lots cannot be used in the evening before a match. Please take account of our schedule when planning your visit. This is still the case for matches played behind closed doors.

On match days, parking is not available in the caravan park. Alternatively, very limited parking is available in the guest sector for match day ticket holders arriving by caravans. Please follow the instructions of the parking and security service on site.

Important information on FC Bayern München home match days:

  • After the end of the match, all caravan drivers must leave the guest car park again.
  • The regular caravan park (north bus park) can be used again as an overnight accommodation after the departure of all fan buses (approx. 2 hours after the end of the match).
  • Match day parking fee guest car park: EUR 20.00
  • Overnight flat rate for caravan parking: EUR 20.00

Caravan parking on non-matchdays

A positive aspect for campers parking at the Arena is its proximity to the city centre. The city centre (Marienplatz) is accessible by public transport in 30 minutes. Beautiful beer gardens and German villages are an option closer to the stadium.

Cyclists also find themselves in an ideal location. The surrounding areas are full of very well laid out and signposted cycle paths, meaning beautiful bike rides are possible in close proximity to the stadium. Munich is also easily accessible by bicycle, taking cyclists on a scenic route along the Isar.

The ADFC also advertises the possibility of taking a bike to the Allianz Arena for all Munich football fans. The City Council has prepared a signposted night-lit route from Marienplatz: (www.muenchen.de/Radlnetz).

The Allianz Arena itself opens daily at 10:00 am. This way, campers can fit in a stadium tour before going for a wander in the city later on.

Our cafeteria as well as our Paulaner Fantreff North is also open from 10:00 am. To round it all off, fans and visitors can take a stroll through our FC Bayern Museum, the largest club museum in Germany.
(Currently not available due to the cronavirus pandemic - alternative options on site)
