Match tickets for the 2006 World Cup Germany are still coming up for sale in the FIFA World Cup ticket shop at fifaworldcup.com. All successful applications after 16 May will require the applicant to collect the tickets from one of the 12 “Stadium Ticket Centers” (STC) in the host cities. No more tickets will be sent out.
A few days before the tournament begins it will also be possible to buy tickets that remain unsold from previous sales phases from the STCs. The STC in Munich is right next to the Allianz Arena in the Kunstpark Nord on Werner-Heisenberg-Allee. It will be open daily between 11.00 to 19.00 from 31 May to 5 July. On matchdays the Stadium Ticket Center will remain open until the end of the game.
It will also be possible to transfer the World Cup tickets to other people provided FIFA regulations are met (e.g. in case of illness). However, this can only be done on match free days. The tickets can be exchanged at any of the STCs and not just at the Centre of the ground that the ticket is valid for.
Exchanges can only be made by the applicant or someone who has his/her written permission. The applicant must produce a relevant form of identity. An applicant's approved representative must bring the permission letter, the tickets to be exchanged and a copy of the applicant's ID card or passport. A transfer fee of €10 per ticket will be charged.
