The honour of launching the redesigned and completely renovated FC BAYERN STORE at the Allianz Arena fell to Philippe Coutinho as the newest member of the Bayern family. Alongside Jörg Wacker, the board member with responsibility for internationalisation and strategy at FC Bayern, and store manager Michael Herzinger, the Brazilian magician with the ball cut the ribbon to open the revamped fan store for the supporters of Germany's record champions.
With a floor space of over 1,000 m², the newly designed store offers everything FC Bayern fans could desire – and much more than just fan merchandise. Under the motto of the 'measure of all things', images of FC Bayern legends and current players are displayed throughout the store. A comfortable lounge area offers fans the chance to look at matchday posters from the long history of Germany's most successful football club and thereby immerse themselves in the world of FC Bayern.
“The FC BAYERN STORE sets new standards after the revamp – we offer fans from all over the world a special shopping experience day in, day out. I'm impressed by the huge range, the ultramodern look and the welcoming atmosphere," said director Jörg Wacker.
One particular highlight of the FC BAYERN STORE is the new Custom Bar where fans can have their new acquisitions printed to create a unique personal item. Of course, Coutinho did not miss the chance to have his new home shirt printed. "The Coutinho shirt is already a big hit and we are proud to have it in our range of merchandise," said Wacker.
