75,000 fans allowed at home matches from now on

This is the moment that all FC Bayern fans have been eagerly awaiting! Starting with the next home match against FC Augsburg on Saturday 9 April, the Allianz Arena can be at full capacity again. This is the outcome of a cabinet decision on Tuesday 29 March. While “basic protection measures” will continue to apply in Bavaria from Sunday 3 April to 30 April, the majority of coronavirus restrictions are ending. This means that FC Bayern can welcome 75,000 spectators to the Allianz Arena for the first time since the match against SC Freiburg on 6 November 2021. Season tickets are also valid again from now.

Dreesen: Fans are the essence of football

Executive vice-chairman Jan-Christian Dreesen: “We’re delighted, especially for our fans, that full-capacity crowds are allowed at the Allianz Arena again. Fans are the essence of football and turn the matches at our stadium into something special, especially now in the crucial stage of the season. We will continue to take all necessary precautions to ensure the highest level of safety and the health of spectators.”

2G rule, mandatory masks and distancing dropped

On the basis of the cabinet decision, the 2G rule and social distancing rule are also being dropped for Bayern home matches. The wearing of face masks is no longer required either, but is still recommended. In addition, alcoholic drinks can be served in public areas again.
