At this year's Allianz FC Bayern Team Presentation at the Allianz Arena on 16 July FC Bayern would like to draw attention to events off the pitch: For the first time, chalk lines on the centre circle will form a peace sign to call for peace in the world and particularly in view of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. In addition, the Arena will be lit up in rainbow colours as a sign of diversity - Christopher Street Day takes place on the same day in Munich where the German record champions support their gay fan club.
The varied programme of events at the Allianz FC Bayern Team Presentation starts at 15.00 CEST with the presentation of the team who will complete and open training session under head coach Julian Nagelsmann from 16.00 CEST. That will give fans the first opportunity to see the new FCB signings Sadio Mané, Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui at the stadium of the German record champions. Admission to the FC Bayern Museum on this day is not free of charge, as originally communicated, but discounted for all visitors to the Team Presentation. Discounted tickets for the museum can be booked online in advance.
Fans have a great choice in and around the Allianz Arena in addition to the presentation of the current first-team squad: the Paulaner beer garden will be open on the Esplanade where there will be a meet and greet with an FC Bayern legend. There are also Bavarian fan challenges including raising Steins and catching beer mats, prize games for young and old with Berni and the Kids Club as well as the chance to be a player escort at the Allianz Arena.
FC Bayern World Squad match instead of legends
Immediately after the senior squad open training session there will be a friendly between the FC Bayern World Squad and the German record champions U19 side. The FC Bayern World Cup squad is a team of talented youngsters from across the world brought together by FC Bayern and looked after by coaches under World Cup winner Klaus Augenthaler. The youth players impressed in Rio de Janeiro in two friendlies against the U20 teams of Vasco da Gama and Flamengo. Unfortunately, the originally planned FC Bayern Legends match has been cancelled.
