Travel & access

There are many ways to reach the Allianz Arena in Munich’s Fröttmaning area, from bicycle to underground, car or bus.

When does admission to the event begin?

The Allianz Arena usually opens one and a half to two hours before the start of the event. However, times may vary depending on the organiser and event. Please check the relevant event pages on our website or the organiser's website for more information. The esplanade opens two hours before admission. Here you will find various food and merchandise stands.

Where and when can I park?

Is use of public transport included in the ticket price? If so, when can the underground be used?

Public transport is not generally included in concert tickets. Please check with the respective ticket platform through which you purchased your ticket.

I am travelling by caravan – can I park in the visitor car park despite the concert?

The north bus park will also be available for visitors to park in during the concert days. Please check for any last-minute closures.

What am I not allowed to bring into the Allianz Arena. What is permitted and what is prohibited?

Bags larger than A4 size are not permitted in the stadium for security reasons. Luggage storage facilities and lockers are available.

Are there luggage storage facilities at the Allianz Arena during concerts?

Our luggage storage facilities are available for a fee of €2 in front of the south entrances on the esplanade.

Larger items of luggage such as suitcases can also be stored there. Reservations are not possible.

Amenities & facilities

During concerts at the Allianz Arena, you can enjoy a range of food and drink options on the esplanade outside the stadium and also inside.

How can I pay at the Allianz Arena?

Only card payments are accepted for food and drink purchases. All EC, debit and credit cards are accepted.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

Bringing your own food and drink into the Allianz Arena is not permitted. Please check with the respective event organiser for specific requirements.

How do I return the reusable cups?

Drinks are served in reusable cups, for which a deposit of €3 is charged.

The cups are returned with a refund credited to the card used to purchase the products.

All kiosks are available for returning cups.

The return stations inside close 15 minutes before the end of the show. After that, cups can be returned at all kiosks. As a rule, the kiosks on levels 2 and 6 close 45 minutes after the end of the show, and the esplanade closes 60 minutes after the end of the show. Please note that the closing times of the kiosks and return stations may vary depending on the event and organiser.

Where can I get first aid in an emergency?

In the event of a medical emergency, please contact the stewards or security staff, who will be happy to help you and can also notify medical services.

Is smoking permitted inside the Allianz Arena?

Accessibility

During the construction of the Allianz Arena, special attention was paid to ensuring that visitors with limited mobility could also enjoy their visit to the stadium.

Is the route to the Allianz Arena fully accessible?

The route from the underground station to the Allianz Arena is fully accessible. This means that there are no obstacles for wheelchair users.

Car parking spaces (disabled parking spaces) are located in car park P1. The route from car park P1 to the Allianz Arena is also fully accessible and can be navigated without obstacles by wheelchair users.

Where can I buy accessible tickets for people with disabilities?

Please contact the respective event organiser for information on purchasing tickets for people with disabilities.

I have a ticket for the upper tier, but I have difficulty walking. Can I use the lifts?

The Allianz Arena has a lift (T1) for people with limited mobility who have tickets for the upper tier.

Tickets for concerts at the Allianz Arena are available from our ticket partner Muenchen Ticket. Please note that the ticket provider may vary depending on the event.

Do I need a ticket for my child and is there an age restriction for attending concerts?

In principle, every visitor needs a valid ticket. Ticket holders under the age of 16 may only enter the stadium if accompanied by an adult who is responsible for them. The accompanying person must also have a valid ticket. Please also note the age requirements for attending an event as specified by the organiser.

I have a ticket/would like to buy a ticket (block/row/seat) – what is the view of the stage like?

The view of the stage depends on the respective stage position and other interior structures. Therefore, it varies for each artist. Please check with the ticket platform where you purchased your ticket for information on possible obstructions to the view.

I have tickets but cannot attend. Can I return them and, if so, to whom?

Tickets are generally non-returnable. Please check with the respective organiser for information on the possibility of an official secondary ticket market.
