Payment on matchdays
Customer friendliness is important at FC Bayern Munich: the Allianz Arena listened to fans and introduced new matchday payment options. As a result, payments can only be made with credit or debit cards, using either the contactless NFC method or chip and PIN, at all stations. It’s also possible to pay at the checkout with all smart mobile devices (smartphone, smartwatch etc.) contactlessly.
The prerequisite for using this convenient payment service with NFC (near-field communication) technology is a new-generation debit or credit card or any mobile payment system equipped with smart payment technology. This just has to be held a few centimetres over the NFC payment terminal and the amount is automatically debited. Alternatively, debit and credit cards can also be inserted and used for payment.
Where can I pay by card or smart mobile devices on matchday?
As of now, payment by credit or debit card is possible in the following areas of the Allianz Arena:
- All kiosks on Level 2 and Level 6
- Paulaner Fantreff South and North
- FC BAYERN STORE plus all other FC Bayern Fan Shops on Level 2, Level 6 and the Esplanade
- Arena Bistro
- Mobile bars

At the automatic ticket machines in the multi-storey car parks
Information on cup deposits when paying by card or smart mobile devices:
The deposit will be credited to your account when you return the cup and place your card back on the reader. Please note that this credit may take a few days to appear in your account depending on the bank.

Arena Card (no longer available)
The validity period of the Arena Card ended after the 2021/22 season.
Withdrawal of remaining credit
- On matchdays, the Arena Card can be handed in at the service points in front of the Allianz Arena for payment by bank transfer.
(From 01.01.2024, processing will only be possible by post). - To withdraw remaining credit, you can also post the Arena Card to Allianz Arena Payment GmbH at any time:

If the remaining balance is processed by post, the amount will be transferred to your specified account with a deduction of a €1.00 processing fee per card.
When submitting, the cover letter (typed if possible) must include the following to allow a smooth processing:
- First name, last name
- Address
- Complete Bank details (IBAN/BIC)
- ArenaCards in the original
The processing time is currently up to twelve weeks.
