Information and tips on getting to Allianz Arena

Allianz Arena | 80939 München | Werner-Heisenberg-Allee 25
The Allianz Arena is located outside the low-emission zone.

There are many ways to get to the Allianz Arena in München-Fröttmaning – from bike through to the underground. Cars, buses and motorbikes access the new temple of football via the motorway. You’ll find details below on how to get to the Arena by any means of transport. We recommend an early arrival.

Experience also shows that emptying the parking lots and the departure of some 11,000 cars takes 1-2 hours. So we recommend that our guests stay a while after the final whistle and take up our post-match offers. You could, for example, see the press conference live on our video walls, visit the Paulaner Fan Treff North or wander through the vast FC BAYERN STORE to fill up the time that would otherwise be lost in the car park.

  • The police advise all football fans to take advantage of the extensive public transport services offered by the Munich transportation authority (Münchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbund (MVV)), which will get you to matches safely and on time.

Take the S-Bahn from Munich Main Station or Munich East Station to Marienplatz, a central transfer hub. From there take the U6 underground line (in the direction of Garching-Hochbrück) to Fröttmaning. The travel time from Marienplatz to Fröttmanning is approx. 16 minutes. From here visitors can get to the stadium via the Esplanade.

Another option is to use our Park + Ride facilities. Just park you car at a P+R facility and use public transport to get to the stadium. Visitors travelling from Franz Josef Strauß airport can find specific instructions on the MVV website (link below).
